Yesterday Mom, Megan and I went to Universal Studios. It was one of the best days I had here in Singapore. The park had 7 different sections: Hollywood, New York, Sci-Fi City, Ancient Egypt, The Lost World, Far Far Away and Madagascar.

In Sci-Fi City we got on a ride called the Accelerator. In Egypt we went on a ride called The Mummy. In The Lost World we went on a ride called canopy fly and went to see a show called Waterworld. In Far Far Away we ate and then went on a sherk 4-D adventure

First we walked through Hollywood but there was nothing to ride on so we walked on. That lead us to New York but there wasn’t anything there to ride on there either. We went to Sci-Fi City and rode the Accelerator. It had a wheel that we spun like crazy and it made us twirl around. It reminded me of the Tornado ride at Thomas Amusements.

After that ride we went to Ancient Egypt and rode the biggest ride… The Mummy. We got in the mummy roller coaster and it went SO fast. It came to a coffin that we crashed into and a mummy popped out of it and then we shot backwards over hills. I was so scared when we crashed and shot backwards. Even though I was scared, after the ride I wanted to go again.

Then we set off to the Lost World and went on a ride called Canopy Flyer. This ride took us up and over The Lost World and gave us a good view of the park. Megan sat up in front and she got soaked because it started to rain.

We ran through the rain to Far Far Away and went on an inside ride called Shrek 4-D Adventure. The seats that we sat in moved and sprayed water when something happened
during the 4-D movie. It was so crazy!!!!!!!!!!

We stopped at Friar’s restaurant for chicken fingers and waffle fries before we moved on to Madagascar. There wasn’t much to see there, just stores. After all of that walking we came back to New York and watched a group of break dancers called the Rockafellas. That was my favourite part because they were doing flips and spinning on their heads. IT WAS AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!! Mom got called up to break dance and she did great. They called Megan and I up but we didn’t go because it would be too embarrassing to do the wave and stuff like that.

Before we went home we got pizza and the manager of the restaurant gave Mom a prize for break dancing. We all cracked up laughing when he left.

That was our day at Universal Studios.

  13. Evan..... Gogos are little plastic figures that all the boys in Grade 5 are now playing with (and bugging Mrs. Mills). Cameron has 42, Chase has 46, Tyler has 16, Mark has 16, Devon has 19, Daniel has 27, Jack has 12.
